1. About Online for Business
Online for Business ("we", "us", "our") provides website build, hosting, ongoing website management, and optional digital advertising services to businesses in the United Kingdom.
By using our website, submitting your details through our forms, or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy below.
2. Our Services
Our subscription-based services may include:
Website design and build
Website hosting
Ongoing updates and maintenance
Technical support
Optional Google and Facebook/Instagram ads management
The exact scope for each customer will be confirmed before any work begins.
3. Quotes, Onboarding and Start of Work
Submitting an enquiry or completing our "Get Started" form does not create a contract for paid services by itself. We will confirm the recommended package, scope, and subscription terms with you before starting any paid work.
Work begins once both parties agree the scope and pricing and we have received the first subscription payment (or another agreed initial payment).
4. Subscription Terms
Services are provided on a subscription basis.
Subscriptions have a minimum term of six (6) months unless otherwise agreed in writing.
There is no setup fee unless explicitly stated and agreed in writing.
After the minimum term, subscriptions continue on a monthly basis.
You may cancel at any time after the minimum term by providing written notice.
5. Cancellation, Handover and Account Closure
If you cancel after the minimum term:
A one-time £199 handover fee applies.
This fee covers: website handover, hosting transition support, and account closure/administration.
After cancellation and completion of handover, we will no longer host the website or provide updates, fixes, or support. Any ongoing services (including ads management) will cease.
6. Domains, Email and Third-Party Services
If you ask us to assist with domains, email or other third-party tools, domain registration/renewal fees and third-party subscription costs may be payable by you separately, unless explicitly included in writing. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and availability.
7. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information about your business and services.
Provide any requested materials in a timely manner.
Ensure you have the rights to use any content you provide.
Review and approve materials promptly when requested.
8. Advertising Services (Google / Meta)
If ads management is provided:
Ads management is included only where explicitly agreed as part of your package.
Ad spend is discussed and agreed separately unless explicitly included in writing.
We do not guarantee results, leads, revenue, rankings, or specific performance outcomes.
Ad platform policies apply, and platforms may reject ads or restrict accounts.
9. Payments
Subscription fees are billed monthly unless otherwise agreed.
Payments must be made on time to avoid service interruption.
If payment is overdue, we may pause services until payment is received.
10. Availability and Support
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of websites or third-party platforms. We will take reasonable steps to restore service as soon as practical.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, or indirect/consequential losses.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 3 months (or £250, whichever is higher).
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
